A pan grilled pork steak, marinated in a sauce with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire and soy sauce, garlic and more. A tasty slice of pork to be served with a variety of side dishes.
For two you’ll need two boneless pork steaks, and for the marinade, 1 moderately heaped tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 clove of garlic, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 1 teaspoon honey and black pepper to taste.
Mix together the ingredients for the marinade until smooth. Check the taste and adjust as needed. Place the pork steaks on a plate and pour the marinade over them, making sure they’re entirely covered. Cover the plate with plastic film and place the steaks in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and allow them to reach room temperature before grilling.
Heat a grill pan on high and grill the steaks for a few minutes on each side, flipping them over twice.
When the steaks are done, remove from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
Serve with, for instance, deep fried, pressed or mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
