A sandwich with alternating layers of Brie cheese and fried side pork, or bacon. Adding some sliced tomatoes adds freshness to the creamy-salty combination.
For one sandwich you’ll need 1 slice of sweet rye bread, three slices of bacon, three slices of Brie cheese, a few slices of tomato, butter and (optionally) some salt and pepper.
Fry the bacon until crisp. If using uncured side pork, add salt and pepper to taste.
Butter the bread lightly. Then place alternating layers of the cheese, bacon and tomato on the bread.
Serve with a lager beer.
