Apparently 2015 was a good year for champagne. This one is moderately full, citrusy in a pleasant way with a slightly tannic aftertaste. Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs, bubbly, and should last a good while longer.
The tannins (presumably), that are sometimes also described as a sulphury taste might divide opinion, but it adds a certain edge to a bubbly beverage that’s otherwise often fairly homogenised.
