This one can be used as a marinade or as a dip for steaks when going for a lighter herbal taste.
You’ll need roughly 3/4 dl extra virgin olive oil, fresh thyme, around 8 strands, 1-2 cloves of garlic, salt and pepper.
Cut the strands of thyme finely and put them in the olive oil. Add the pressed garlic, salt and pepper. Taste the mixture to check the level of the ingredients.
It can either be used pre-cooking as a marinade, or be served in individual bowls as a dip, or simply be poured over cut steak as a dressing.
