One of the easiest salmon dishes. Just get a slice of cold smoked salmon, 150g (5.3 ounces) or so will do for two people. Chop it up, mix it with about 200g (7 ounces) of crème fraîche. Add 1 or 2 cloves of pressed garlic, some black pepper and mix it all up.

How much black pepper? Maybe four or five twists of the pepper mill.
If you’re heavily into salt you can add some, but if the salmon is decent you won’t have to and it might be too much.

Serve it with new potatoes, no need to peel them, just boil them in salt water until they’re soft enough to easily pierce with a fork. Add a light salad and serve with a cold lager. A white wine or a light red should work perfectly well too.

Serve and enjoy, perfect for midsummers eve or summers in general.
